Strands Of Gold

While wire-wrapping was my first love, chainmaille has become my passion. From spools of golden wire, I spin coils that are then cut into the individual rings. Next I weave the rings into chains using patterns and practices both ancient and modern. Some chains are sold as is, their exotic repeating patterns making their own statement. Others are adorned with a variety of stones: Precious and Semi-Precious Gems from around the world. They include; beautiful Freshwater Pearls; Dichroic Glass with its fascinating patterns; Swarovski Crystals, the finest leaded crystal available; and beautiful, handcrafted Lampwork Beads, purchased directly from other talented artists.
